“ The service was excellent. I went to R&G with a group of colleagues last week. The wait was a little long even though we had reservations. The manager comped our drinks for the long wait. The food was delicious! Definitely better than any of the Chinese food I can get at home. The only thing that was not as expected was the Peking duck. I’m used to the breast meat being deboned, but theirs wasn’t. Our entire group really enjoyed everything we ordered. We left really full! ”

“ I found this place through Google Maps recommendations and I want to tell you that it was a unique experience since we arrived. It is the best Cantonese restaurant in San Francisco. We arrived around 8 pm and we didn't have to wait. They took us to the underground part, which is an experience since it seems like you are entering another city. The service was excellent because the waiter was very patient since my English is not the best and he helped me choose the dishes. They welcomed us with tea, which they were very careful to serve. Afterwards, we ordered the duck, which was delicious, and the prawns with honey walnuts, which I also highly recommend because the combination of flavors is wonderful. The dessert was also delicious. Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant because you will eat very well and in a unique way. ”
“ Everything you want, look and expect when in a China Town restaurant. Downstairs seating with modest white tiles shouldn’t intimidate you at all. R&G is incredibly high quality and the food is wonderful. You can explore the normalized Americanized chose food or venture into the Eastern culture with the house specialty Peking duck with a side of Bao Buns. It’s my son’s favorite spot in all of San Fran. I love it as well. ”

The bbq pork appetizer was moist, sweet and a perfect texture. Highly recommended! The sticky rice dish was incredibly balanced with sweet, Salty and flavor. The garlic seafood noodles combination had the FRESHEST seafood, so much flavor and went so well with the hot sauce. But let's talk about Larry at the bar. His personality makes you want to come back and back again. The bar staff is just one in a million! We loved our experience here. It is a must try! Make a reservation if you have a party. ”

“ As an Asian from an Asian country, you can’t get closer to home from this. Preserving most of the authentic tastes, the food really blessed my taste buds and we were really impressed with the food. Some of the dishes which I personally like was the Cold Dish Chicken and the Peking Duck, meat was tender and sauce fit the meat perfectly. ”
